Education is not learning of facts but to train minds to think. A life without ideas is an unfulfilled existence. Not only having ideas is important, but to express them, share them, and implement them is what makes a difference in this world.
The basic objective of ACBCS to make the students thinker and help students to explore themselves at global level by solving various problems at local/ national/international level. India with number of young & innovative minds is looking to be a global leader in research and innovation. We at ACBCS are committed to give our contribution in this national mission through “EUREKA” competition. This competition is challenging students to dare to think different.

CATEGORIES FOR PARTICIPATION:

Category 1: Innovative Idea
In this category any innovative idea which is beneficial to society or any stakeholder can be accepted.

Category 2: Problem Identification with Proposed Solution

Any problem in the society which needs recognition and not having solution currently can be put here along with its proposed solution.

STEPS OF COMPETITION:

Step1: Register yourself through Google Form & upload your idea.
Students should register themselves through Google Form and upload the PDF file. Registration fees: Rs.100

Step2: Assessment and selection for final stage.
Students whose innovative ideas/ Problem identification and definition/ problem with proposed solution satisfies the predefined criteria’s will only be selected for final stage.

Step3: Presentation of selected participants.
Students will present their innovative ideas/ Problem identification and definition/ problem with proposed solution through PPT Presentation.

  • Those who are interested in protecting their Idea under IPR, should do so before presenting it.
  • Innovative Idea / Problem identification with proposed solution you are submitting for the competition should be unique and not someone else's work.

  • The student must be full time bonafide student enrolled under any University UG programme or Junior College or School.
  • The age of the student should be between 14 to 23 years as on academic year in which competition is being held.
  • Student can represent only that College/Recognized Institute/Department of University from where he/she is pursuing his/her education.
  • Student should have valid identity card of the College/Recognized Institute/Department of University from where he / she is pursuing his / her school/11th /12th /degree/diploma.
  • Students can Participate in each category individually no group participation is allowed.
  • Student from any discipline can participate in any category to which their idea fits.
  • Topic of selected category should be based on students’ original work.
  • Student should upload & present their idea in English language only.
  • Student can register for more than one category, but he/she should fill separate Google Form for the same.
  • External students and students pursuing only bridge course are not eligible.
  • Students having provisional admission are not eligible.
  • Submit the PDF file for each category separately.
  • Write Name of the participant, Category, Theme, Name of College with other contents.
  • It should have clear introduction of the Idea/Problem identification  with proposed solution.
  • The title should not be more than 2 lines in Bold Times New Roman font with size12 and 1line spacing.
  • Prepare contents in MS word, Times New Roman font with size 12 and 1.5 line spacing on A4 paper size & then convert it into PDF.
  • Participant will submit their Idea/ Problem identification with proposed solution trough Google Form.
  • Idea/ Problem with proposed solution should be explained in minimum 200 words.
  • There is no limit to maximum words.
  • The power point presentation can be made by using any tool.
  • It can be made in English language only.
  • Use universal font/s to avoid delays during presentation.
  • Use minimum text on the slide/s.
  • Make presentation using suitable pictures/diagrams / graphs/tables, etc.
  • Keep the slides limited as per the given template so as to finish presentation within 7 minutes.
  • The title should be mentioned on the first slide and the remaining expected matter on next slides.
  • Presentations will be held online or at ACBCS College.
  • Schedule will be shared with students before the scheduled date.
  • Time limit for the presentation is 10 minutes.
  • If there is any problem from student’s side during presentation it is his/her own responsibility.
  • Panel of Judges will be there for each category.
  • Introduce yourself with name, pursuing degree, college name, city, state, etc clearly before starting with the presentation.
  • Keep the slides limited so as to finish presentation within 7 minutes.
  • 3 minutes are there for question answer.
